{"id":12945,"date":"2020-01-12T03:48:03","date_gmt":"2020-01-12T00:48:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sharakat.com.sa\/?p=12945"},"modified":"2024-07-15T03:50:20","modified_gmt":"2024-07-15T00:50:20","slug":"request-for-expressions-of-interest-for-madinah-3-independent-sewage-treatment-plant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newdev.swpc.sa\/en\/request-for-expressions-of-interest-for-madinah-3-independent-sewage-treatment-plant\/","title":{"rendered":"Request for Expressions of Interest for Madinah 3 Independent Sewage Treatment Plant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vision 2030 recognises the critical importance of ensuring the future reliable provision of sewage treatment services for the quality of life of residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (\u201cKSA\u201d).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0To meet sewage treatment requirements, the Saudi Water Partnership Company (\u201cSWPC\u201d) has launched a programme to commission a further round of new Independent Sewage Treatment Plants (\u201cISTPs\u201d).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0SWPC is therefore pleased to invite expression of interest (\u201cEOI\u201d) in respect of the development of a new ISTPs namely Madinah 3 ISTP (the \u201cProject\u201d).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Madinah 3 ISTP will have a total ultimate treatment capacity of 375,000 m3\/day. It will be located in the city of Madinah in western Saudi Arabia.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0SWPC will conduct a competitive process to select a developer or developer consortium for the development, financing, engineering, procurement, construction, implementation, ownership, operation, maintenance and transfer of the Project, together with associated infrastructure and facilities.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Under a 25-year Sewage Treatment Agreement (\u201cSTA\u201d) with SWPC, a project company is to be incorporated to develop the Project and will treat the entire sewage capacity supplied by SWPC. SWPC\u2019s obligations under the STA will be supported by a credit support agreement from the Government of Saudi Arabia.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0SWPC requests the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Interested parties should express their interest to participate in the tender process by no later than 04 February 2020.
